Description

NGC 134 is a barred spiral galaxy in the Sculptor constellation and features a warped disk, visible as the galaxy is largely edge on. The bottom right side of the galaxy in my image shows some of this as the edge of the galaxy kind of trails off.

This edge tail feature extends further than what is visible, however I need more Lum exposures before I can feel I can reliably draw it out of the data further. Perhaps a "super Lum" would have been appropriate for this target given the exposures I ended up with at the end of the season?

There are also a couple interesting nearby galaxies across the image, including NGC 131, which actually closer to us than NGC 134 by 5 million light years. Ngc 134 is about 60m light years away.Angularly, NGC134 is 8.4 x 1.8 arc minutes across our sky.
